Provide leadership and oversight of Network Services operations including WAN LAN wireless SD-WAN and network security platforms

Oversee daily operational activities including incident management problem resolution and service availability

Serve as escalation point for high-priority network and infrastructure issues

Coordinate and prioritize workload across Network Services teams including infrastructure and security-focused functions

Support ongoing and planned initiatives including: SD-WAN implementation and optimization Network monitoring and observability tools (e.g. ThousandEyes AppDynamics) security integrations (e.g. Secure Workload NGFW identity services)

Provide vendor coordination and oversight for network-related services and contracts

Ensure compliance with Agency security standards policies and regulatory requirements

Participate in change management processes and ensure proper documentation and approvals

Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering Data Center Telecom and Security teams to support cross-functional initiatives

Provide status reporting risk identification and mitigation planning to leadership

Maintain documentation of network architecture processes and operational procedures

Support knowledge transfer and continuity planning for the return of the permanent Network Services Manager

Years Required/Preferred Experience
7 Required Minimum of seven (7) years experience performing supervisory/management work including providing clear direction to subordinates; promoting teamwork and motivating others to accomplish goals.
7 Preferred Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with administration maintenance and design of Cisco VoIP solutions is required.
5 Preferred Minimum of five (5) years experience managing a networking team in a highly complex environment.
5 Preferred Experienced with implementation and support of 24x7x365 network voice and video environment
