Description:

Technical Leadership

• Own architecture/design for scalable microservices on AWS (EKS Aurora Kafka) and front-end apps (React).
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions with clear roadmaps and trade-offs.
• Guide the team on coding standards design patterns security and performance best practices.

Product Development & Maintenance

• Lead development of new features enhancements and critical bug fixes with SLAs.
• Ensure reliable data ingestion pipelines and integrations across Snowflake Postgres and Kafka.
• Maintain platform reliability cost efficiency and performance at scale.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Champion CI/CD using GitHub Actions GitOps with Argo CD and IaC via Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Enforce code quality SCA/SAST/coverage using SonarQube and manage artifacts with JFrog.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Product Architecture Security and QA; manage scope risks and release plans.
• Provide technical estimations delivery plans and regular status reporting.

Team Excellence

• Mentor engineers conduct code/design reviews and foster an automation-first test-first culture.
• Promote Agile best practices (Scrum/Kanban) backlog hygiene and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

• 8 12 years of software engineering experience with 2 4 years in a lead role.
• 8 12 years of Backend: Java 11 (or 17) Spring Boot REST/gRPC microservices caching security (OAuth2/OIDC) testing (JUnit/Mockito).
• 8 12 years of Frontend: React (hooks/context) TypeScript/JavaScript state management component-level testing (Jest/RTL).
• 8 12 years of Cloud (AWS): Strong with EKS (Kubernetes) Aurora (Postgres/MySQL) S3 Lambda API Gateway IAM CloudWatch.
• 8 12 years of Data & Streaming: Kafka (producers/consumers partitions schema) Postgres Snowflake (data ingestion pipelines).
• 8 12 years of DevOps: GitHub Actions Argo CD Terraform CloudFormation SonarQube JFrog (Artifactory).
• 8 12 years of Architecture & Quality: Domain-driven design event-driven architecture CI/automation mindset performance tuning.
• 8 12 years of Agile Delivery: Sprint planning estimation release management and production support (on-call/rotations).

• Resource to be working from Tampa.

Degree:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
