Job Title: R&D Catalysis Laboratory Technician (Heterogeneous Catalysis)

FLSA Status: Exempt / Nonexempt
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time
Provides technical support for heterogeneous catalysis R&D programs including reactor operations sample analysis data documentation and laboratory maintenance. Supports development of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable fuel technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Support reactor setup operation monitoring and shutdown
- Perform catalyst handling feed preparation sampling and system checks
- Conduct laboratory analyses (GC-MS titrations Karl Fischer etc.)
- Prepare reagents standards and calibration materials
- Document experimental data and maintain LIMS/database records
- Maintain lab inventory cleanliness and audit readiness
- Assist with equipment calibration maintenance and service coordination
- Ensure compliance with EHS SOPs and quality systems
- Support cross-functional collaboration across R&D teams
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Materials Science or related field
Experience:
- 0 3 years of laboratory or R&D experience
- Experience with catalysis reactors or analytical instrumentation preferred
- Attention to detail and data integrity
- Mechanical and technical aptitude
- Knowledge of lab safety and SOP compliance
- Organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to work safely in a laboratory environment
- Regular attendance and effective communication required
