Position: Health & Safety Business Partner
Location: 342 E Pittsburgh Street Delmont PA
Duration: Full Time / Permanent
Salary: $90K Max
Bonus: Up to 5%
Benefits: Yes
401 (k): Yes 3% match
Vacation: 3 weeks
Working Setup: Monday to Friday on site
Position Summary:
- Responsible for designing and implementing policies and procedures that help prevent harm to workers and property. Inspects machines air and water quality investigates accidents and creates policies for workers to follow that minimize job-related hazards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and implement workplace health and safety plans and procedures
- Evaluate health and safety practices and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines
- Conduct accident prevention training and health and safety training
- Inspect equipment for unsafe workplace conditions
- Monitor employee conformity to safety laws and policies
- Lead and facilitate safety committee and first responders
- Suggest Solution improvements and prevention steps for safety issues
- Investigate accidents and incidents to find cause and take prevention measures for further incidents
- Handle worker s compensation claims in the event of a workplace accident
- Conduct yearly audits to ensure compliance
- Responsible for environmental reporting
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in related field and two years of experience in a manufacturing environment
