The Technology Quality Technician is responsible for performing quality control inspections testing and reporting to ensure compliance with specifications. This role requires hands-on technical skills and an understanding of quality management systems and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections on materials components subassemblies and equipment
Perform manufacturing and engineering tests per procedures
Document inspection and test results accurately
Interpret specifications and mechanical drawings
Assist in designing test setups and fixtures
Ensure all inspection and testing activities meet safety standards
Support calibration of measurement systems (when authorized)
Identify and report non-conformances
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Follow standard work instructions and quality procedures
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Technical Secondary School
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quality inspection or manufacturing
Basic computer skills (documentation & reporting)
Experience with Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Mechanical lifting/handling experience
Familiarity with quality inspection tools and measurement systems
Physical Requirements
Frequent handling of mechanical components (pipes)
Regular use of mechanical lifting aids
Multiple lifts per shift
No unassisted lifting over 50 lbs
Safety
Compliance with all safety procedures is mandatory
