Role:- DataStage Developer
Salary Range :- $125000-$135000 a year
Location:- Seattle WA Onsite
Job Type:- Full-Time
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Understanding business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for ETL solutions.
Designing and developing DataStage jobs to extract transform and load data.
Using various DataStage stages (e.g. Transformer Aggregator Lookup Filter) to manipulate data.
Creating job sequences using Autosys to orchestrate the execution of multiple jobs.
Experience in Git and Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
Python skills and good knowledge of SQL & PL/SQL
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Datastage server environments ensuring system stability and performance. (Both on prem and cloud)
Analyzing and optimizing existing ETL jobs for performance improvements.
Troubleshooting ETL job failures and identifying root causes while doing the migration.
Monitoring job execution and proactively addressing potential issues.
Implement and maintain best practices for ETL design and creation.
Have hands on experience on datastage migration or upgrade from on prem to cloud.
Document processes procedures and system configurations for knowledge sharing.
Participate in team calls and meetings.
