Role Overview:
This part-time contract role supports the Division of Regulation in auditing financial documents and performing accounting calculations. The position is fully office-based operating 20 hours per week within standard business hours and does not involve public-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Audit financial documents for accuracy and compliance

Perform accounting calculations to assess financial stability of companies

Utilize computer programs to locate documents perform calculations and input data into reporting forms

Work independently within a professional office (cubicle) environment
Required Skills & Experience:

High school diploma or GED

Minimum 2 years of basic accounting skills

Minimum 2 years of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel

Experience performing calculations and entering data into Excel-based reporting forms

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English
Preferred Skills:

Experience auditing financial documents

Experience performing accounting calculations to determine the financial stability of a company

Knowledge of GAAP
Additional Details:
Schedule is Monday Friday 20 hours per week flexible within 8am 5pm. Business casual dress code required. Free parking (surface or garage) is available on-site.
