Job Description:
Staff Product Quality Engineer (PQE) responsible for semiconductor product quality customer quality engineering root cause analysis and cross-functional quality improvement across product lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-
Lead customer complaint investigations using structured problem-solving methods including 8D 5 Whys Ishikawa for product quality engineering and semiconductor quality
-
Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action (CAPA) across product engineering manufacturing reliability engineering and test engineering teams
-
Manage failure analysis (FA) requests and deliver clear technical findings to internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders
-
Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve product quality issues and improve semiconductor device performance and reliability
-
Monitor field return data reliability metrics yield trends and customer quality indicators to identify risks and improve product quality
-
Analyze data using statistical methods (SPC DOE) and tools to support quality assurance and product quality engineering decisions
-
Prepare and present customer-facing quality reports technical presentations and quality reviews
-
Support customer audits qualification activities and compliance requirements for semiconductor quality and reliability
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects enhance product robustness and improve customer satisfaction

Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to strengthen process controls test coverage and quality systems
