Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Nursing / Acute Care RN / Night Shift RN
Location: Onsite Pikeville KY
Duration: 8 Weeks Contract
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) providing acute care nursing patient monitoring and clinical interventions in a medical nursing unit.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process in acute care and medical-surgical settings
- Perform head-to-toe assessments reassessments and clinical evaluations
- Administer medications IV therapy IV drips and transfusion therapy
- Manage cardiac monitoring chest tubes sedation and pain management
- Provide pre- and post-procedure care including cardiac cath recovery
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families supervise staff and support care planning

Qualification:
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Active RN License required
- BLS ACLS NIHSS EKG certifications required
- Minimum 2 years experience required (5 years preferred)
