Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with a strong background in the BFSI domain to join our team in Atlanta GA. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building secure scalable mobile applications and a solid understanding of financial systems compliance and data security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin/Java
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product QA Backend) to deliver robust mobile solutions
Implement secure coding practices aligned with BFSI compliance standards
Integrate RESTful APIs third-party services and banking/payment gateways
Ensure application performance quality and responsiveness
Participate in code reviews debugging and performance tuning
Work on app modernization and migration (if applicable)
Follow Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices

Required Skills & Experience

8 years of experience in Android application development
Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java
Experience with Android SDK Android Studio Jetpack components
Hands-on experience with REST APIs JSON and microservices architecture
Strong knowledge of MVVM/MVP architecture patterns
Experience with Git CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions etc.)
Solid understanding of mobile security best practices (encryption authentication secure storage)
Experience with performance optimization and memory management
Familiarity with Firebase push notifications and analytics tools

Domain Expertise (Mandatory)

Prior experience in BFSI domain (Banking Payments Insurance FinTech)
Understanding of:
- Secure transactions and payment integrations
- Regulatory compliance (e.g. PCI-DSS GDPR basics)
- Authentication mechanisms (OAuth biometrics MFA)

Nice to Have

Experience with Jetpack Compose
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications
