Participate as a Database Administrator as part of a team of five DBAs and several contract DBAs supporting the enterprise wide database landscape . Be involved in database projects and operational support.
Scope of Services:
Participate as a Database Administrator as part of a team of five DBAs and several contract DBAs supporting the enterprise wide database landscape . Be involved in database projects and operational support.
DBA will assist project teams in choosing appropriate Database Architectures that fit the business requirements while aligning with IT Standards and Procedures.
DBA will be responsible for creating reference architectures for the IT and business teams to review and addition a need to document changes to the environment and communicate effectively with the database team is vitally important.
DBA will be working with the IT Database team in database creation of a database Cloud strategy and migration from on -prem to the cloud where advantageous.
Strong documentation communication and critical thinking skills are required.
Candidate will be interacting with in house developers and end users as well as other contract resources.
May be asked to work on-call hours

Responsible for building new or modifying existing database systems by producing the prescribed deliverables
Responsible for Developing and implementing database cloud strategy
Responsible for migration from local backups to NetBackup as part of a DBA team goal.
Work with Technical business teams and integrators as part of the ADI portfolio initiative
Mentor DBA team members
Experience required: average 10 years
