Shift Options: 1st shift (Mon Thurs 5:30 AM 4:00 PM) or 2nd shift (Mon Thurs 3:00 PM 1:30 AM); training on 1st shift with final assignment based on program needs

Summary:
-
Inspect and validate in-process and completed products including electronic mechanical structural and powerplant systems
-
Use blueprints diagrams and technical orders to verify specifications and assembly build-up
-
Utilize precision measuring tools such as dial indicators micrometers scales fixtures and borescopes
-
Evaluate aircraft and component serviceability
-
Collaborate with customers for final inspection approval and buy-off
-
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
-
Generate discrepancy and non-conformance reports for defects or incorrect work
Requirements
-
8 years of experience as an Aircraft Inspector Mechanic or Assembler
-
5 years of airframe/structures experience
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints specifications and aircraft drawings
-
Experience with precision measuring equipment (calipers ball gauges micrometers tensiometers coating thickness gauges etc.)
-
Knowledge of tool control and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention
-
Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

F-16 manufacturing or maintenance experience

Previous inspection/quality control experience

Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
-
Strong technical writing skills for non-conformance documentation
-
Proficiency with systems such as Word Excel SAP Solumina SFM and APRISO/QADS
