We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a hybrid capacity (New Jersey / Washington DC).
In this role you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. You will support month-end and quarter-end close processes collaborate across departments and contribute to continuous improvements in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform revenue close procedures including journal entries for revenue and deferred revenue account reconciliations and fluctuation analysis
Prepare month-end expense accruals and maintain detailed schedules to ensure accurate period recognition
Collaborate with finance team members to prepare monthly financial packages and management reports
Complete general ledger account reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis
Execute assigned month-end and quarter-end close activities including journal entries and reporting tasks
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Support external audit requirements and documentation requests
Identify process improvement opportunities and update internal documentation and policies
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
What You Bring:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is a plus)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a complex accounting environment
Advanced Excel skills including strong experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present financial information
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
