Summary
- The Chemist is responsible for performing chemical and physical testing of pharmaceutical raw materials and finished products using validated methods.
- This role ensures accurate analysis compliance with regulatory standards and effective communication of test results within a laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical and physical testing of pharmaceutical raw materials and finished products.
- Execute validated analytical methods including spectroscopy and wet chemistry techniques.
- Identify and report out-of-specification (OOS) or unexpected results.
- Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
- Accurately document and report test results following laboratory procedures.
- Communicate findings clearly with internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs GMP GLP and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
- Support continuous compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Required Skills
- Bachelor s degree in Chemistry Biology or related scientific field.
- Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience with chromatographic data systems.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical or laboratory environments.
- Knowledge of analytical instrumentation and testing methods.
