Systems Engineer

Project Overview

The client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its Global Information Security team within the Privileged Access Management (PAM) function. This role focuses on the design deployment integration administration and daily operations of the HashiCorp Vault solution.

The candidate will act as a liaison between system administrators service providers application owners and the IAM organization supporting secure access management and application onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Design deploy and manage HashiCorp Vault solutions in enterprise environments
• Define document and enforce Vault policies procedures and security controls
• Support onboarding of applications and services into the Vault platform
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement security processes and solutions
• Monitor Vault performance service levels and troubleshoot issues
• Implement and validate security controls aligned with organizational standards
• Create test cases to ensure cross-platform interoperability
• Support identification and remediation of security events
• Contribute to SDLC security design and risk mitigation strategies
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams and stakeholders
• Prepare reports track project progress and meet delivery timelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience/certification
• 5 years of overall IT engineering experience including:
  • 1 year of experience with HashiCorp Vault or equivalent technology
  • 2 years of PowerShell scripting experience
  • 2 years of experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
  • 2 years working with directory services Windows Linux applications and databases
  • 2 years supporting application development teams
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional matrixed environments
