Technical LeadEngineering Manager (Services)

Location: Miami FL 4 days onsite

Type: 6 month contract to hire convert plus

Notes

• They will be reporting to a Sr. Manager and candidates should be more Sr technical Lead vs VP or Director level
• The Priority will be their technical coding skills and Knowledge not Managerial Skills. They must be hands on when needed.
• Focus on Backend/Services with experience in working with front end apps
• Experience managing offshore engineering teams and coordinating across time zones
• Hire train mentor and manage one or more Software Engineering teams (5 15 engineers) including onshore and offshore resources
• Conduct code reviews provide technical guidance and drive engineering standards across the team
• Organize technical work break down requirements and guide teams through execution
• 7 years of software development/engineering experience
• 3 years of experience leading engineers and managing engineering teams
• Strong hands-on backend engineering background (Java Spring Boot microservices)
• Solid understanding of Docker/containers and Kubernetes Kustomize
• Proficiency with GitOps workflows and Argo CD
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture
• Strong preference for candidates with backend/middleware/API development background who understand how to build scalable services that power guest-facing front-end experiences

• Experience developing both web and mobile solutions
• Experience with GraphQL and API gateway architecture (Apigee or equivalent)
• Experience with reactive programming (WebFlux Project Reactor) and non-blocking I/O
