Job Title: Cloud Security Architect (AWS Zero Trust DevSecOps - 14 years of experience)

Location: Austin TX - Hybrid- Local candidates Only

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

• Experience in information security and systems architecture
• Proven expertise in designing secure cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred)
• Strong understanding of business objectives challenges and risk landscapes with the ability to identify alternative technical solutions
• Experience performing cost/benefit analysis and feasibility studies for security and system improvements
• Ability to analyze user requirements business processes and system workflows to design secure and efficient solutions
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand operational procedures identify gaps and define input/output requirements and reporting formats
• Strong capability in documenting detailed user requirements system functions and technical design specifications
• Evaluate system capabilities constraints and integration feasibility within existing enterprise environments
• In-depth knowledge of Texas Cybersecurity Framework (TCF) and NIST 800-53
• Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture
• Extensive experience in threat modeling for complex enterprise systems
• Strong experience securing microservices APIs and containerized environments (e.g. Kubernetes Docker)
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools
• Proven experience integrating security controls into DevSecOps pipelines
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide cloud security strategies and governance frameworks
• Familiarity with securing AI/LLM-based systems and data pipelines
• Experience implementing data protection strategies for PII PHI and other sensitive data
• Ability to present technical risk assessments and security strategies to executive leadership and stakeholders
• Experience drafting and enforcing enterprise security policies standards and architecture guidelines
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives
• Preferred certifications: CISSP CISM AWS Certified Security Specialty or equivalent
