Job Title: CyberSecurity Architect

Location: Chesapeake VA (Onsite)

Duration: 06 Months

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Rate Range: $90 to $95

Position Overview:

The CyberSecurity Architect is responsible for designing and implementing secure architectures across cloud and on premises environments. This role focuses on developing compliant and scalable security solutions that align business objectives with modern security frameworks and partner technologies. The CyberSecurity Architect collaborates with internal teams partners and customers to ensure a cohesive approach to security governance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure architectures across cloud and on premises environments aligned with established security frameworks.
• Develop compliant security architectures tailored to meet specific customer requirements and business objectives.
• Design and implement robust frameworks for Authentication Authorization Administration and Auditing to ensure a comprehensive security posture.
• Integrate cutting edge technologies with business goals to support performance management and operational efficiency.
• Leverage partnerships with leading original equipment manufacturers to deliver adaptable identity and access management solutions across diverse environments.
• Design secure scalable and cost efficient cloud architectures that support seamless migrations aligned with technical and business goals.
• Implement operationally efficient security models using appropriate tools controls and automation.
• Emphasize continuous monitoring and live posture reporting to enhance cloud security visibility and transparency.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of security architectures and validate solutions prior to deployment.
• Collaborate with partners and cross functional teams to deliver integrated solutions across cloud data security and identity domains.
• Support governance risk and compliance efforts to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and business operations.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in designing and implementing secure architectures for cloud and on premises environments.
• Certifications in architecture and security frameworks such as TOGAF SABSA and ITIL.
• Experience integrating modern technologies with business objectives to support performance management.
• Proven ability to leverage partner ecosystems and original equipment manufacturers for identity and access management solutions.
• Hands on experience delivering identity and access management services including user lifecycle management access review and certification and privileged access management.
• Strong knowledge of Authentication Authorization Administration and Auditing design principles.
• Experience building operationally efficient security models using appropriate tools and controls.
• Ability to implement continuous monitoring and live security posture reporting.
• Demonstrated experience designing secure scalable and cost efficient cloud architectures.
• Experience conducting security architecture assessments and solution validation.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines to deliver solutions aligned to customer requirements.
• Knowledge of governance risk and compliance practices and regulatory alignment.
• Strong problem solving analytical and strategic planning skills.

Tools and Technologies:

• Cloud security platforms and native cloud provider security services.
• Identity and access management platforms including privileged access management solutions.
• Security monitoring and posture management tools.
• Governance risk and compliance tooling and reporting solutions.
