The Physical Therapist will provide physical therapy services in a critical access hospital setting primarily focusing on outpatient care but also covering some inpatient and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) needs. The role involves a 5x8 day schedule with potential for call-offs and requires experience in outpatient acute care and LTC/SNF settings.

Location:Valdez Alaska United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in outpatient acute care and SNF settings.
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.
- Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team.
- Adapt to meet facility needs within the scope of practice.
- Maintain clean and organized work environment.
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in outpatient acute care and SNF settings.
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques.
- Document patient progress and communicate with the healthcare team.
- Adapt to meet facility needs within the scope of practice.
- Maintain clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- BLS certification
- Experience in outpatient acute care and LTC/SNF settings
- Physical Therapist license
- BLS certification

Special Considerations:
- The facility provides housing and a shared rental vehicle for the duration of the assignment.
- Housing and vehicle are available 72 hours before the contract start and up to 24 hours after the contract ends.
- Pets and additional family members in provided housing may require approval.
- Traveler can be called off for one 10-hour shift per 2 weeks.
- Time off is approved on an individual basis upon offer.
- If candidates have worked as Permanent Staff for any Providence facility they must be separated for at least 3 months prior to working as a traveler.
