Job Summary

Sr Network Engineer

Location: Redford MI onsite

Travel: minimal just between listed facilities

Role: Onsite M-F 8am-5pm

C2H 6 mos.

Mandatory:

Skillset	Description	Actual Candidate skills
Required	Lives within commutable distance from Redford Township (Detroit) MI. What city do you live in
Required	Work onsite daily
Required 8 years	Strong Route/Switch technical understanding Hands-on Cisco Routers Switches etc. CLI config installs testing troubleshooting monitoring maintenance moves/adds/ changes (Level 2 or L3)
Required	Service as L2 or L3 escalation engineer to resolve operational issues.
Required	Some hands on Firewalls VPN NAT DNS DHCP etc. High level device Security ACLs VLAN Policies etc. Understand device security best practices
Required	Used monitoring tools such as: Splunk Solarwinds Wireshark etc. Monitor network performance proactively
Required	Deep understanding of OSI model TCP/IP stack
Required	Understands Change Management process config standards for hardware Install and configure devices following change control
Required	Verify update network related documentation SOPs
Required	Clear English communication skills able to articulate issues with end users or others. Able to write clearly & concise
Required	Liaison between IT & OT departments team members
Ideal	Experience with Manufacturing or Industrial processes OT or ICS knowledge
Required	Able to lead Jr engineers and provide guidance.
Required	Ability to handle project management related activities
Required	Able to walk distances within manufacturing floors
Required	Active CCNP; what active cert do you have
