Job Summary
The Opportunity:
- We are looking for a full-time Electrical Professional Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This person will help engineer electrical power and lighting systems and go out to existing and new building work sites. The right candidate will be detail-oriented and able to communicate effectively with other design team members.
- This is an in-office full-time position with salary profit-sharing and excellent benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take on growing responsibility designing commercial medical multi-family and public building power and/or lighting systems.
- Work closely with other team members 80% of your time doing engineering calculations and using Autodesk Revit for 3D power or lighting systems modeling and 20% of your time on job sites for initial investigation or construction observations of these systems.
- Conducting existing building investigations and documenting existing electrical systems.
- Assisting in design meetings with architects owners and clients.
Qualifications Experience & Skills:
- Excellent listening skills to apply the training provided by firm principals
- Excellent attention to detail and checks own work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Revit electrical systems modeling
- Able to manage time and multiple project priorities well
- The ideal candidate will be a electrical engineer with prior electrical building systems engineering and PE license in KY five to ten years experience and a desire to manage projects in the office and with clients.
- A desire for balanced life-work with mostly 40 hours per week at work.
