Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support operations within a fast-paced extrusion blow molding environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability minimizing downtime and maintaining overall production efficiency.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities and prior experience working on plastic molding equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Install commission and maintain plastic molding machines and auxiliary equipment
Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems (motors pumps valves sensors PLCs etc.)
Respond to equipment breakdowns with urgency diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions
Execute electrical work including power distribution and control wiring for integrated systems
Interpret blueprints schematics and technical documentation to support maintenance efforts
Maintain detailed maintenance logs repair records and parts usage documentation
Partner with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement in equipment performance
Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies within plastics processing
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience within plastics manufacturing (extrusion and/or blow molding preferred)
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems
Working knowledge of PLC systems and industrial controls
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Proven ability to work effectively in a high-speed production environment
Experience with blow molding OR injection molding equipment is a PLUS
