Job Summary

A Perioperative Operating Room Charge RN is needed for a 13-week contract assignment primarily supporting weekend coverage. The Charge RN will oversee daily OR operations coordinate patient flow support surgical staff and ensure safe efficient patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

Provide Charge RN leadership and oversight for perioperative services.
Coordinate daily OR activities surgical schedules and patient flow.
Support surgeons anesthesia providers and OR teams.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols sterilization standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist in mentoring and guiding OR staff.
Deliver direct patient care as needed in the operating room.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

Active RN license in the state.
Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
At least 1 year of current Perioperative Charge Nurse or Relief Charge experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
Two or more years of Critical Care experience.
CNOR certification.
