Duration: 12 months Contract

Citizenship Requirement: US Citizens or Perm Residents

1st Shift $28.00/hr on W2 Mon - Thurs 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM with OT on the weekends. 20990-1

2nd Shift $30.00/hr on W2 Mon - Thurs 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM with OT on the weekends. 20988-1

As a Cable Inspection Specialist youll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our cable products.

Youll use your expertise to inspect cables identify non-conformances and work with our team to resolve quality issues.

Your attention to detail strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment will make you a valuable asset to our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect cables using predetermined methods operations and specifications
• Use various measuring devices such as dial indicators preset micrometers and scales
• Accept reject or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems
• Work from blueprints diagrams customer specifications and inspection instructions
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
• Communicate effectively with assemblers engineers and management to resolve quality issues
• Perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed

Requirements:

• Strong background in cable manufacturing and inspection
• Experience with soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standards
• Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings diagrams parts lists IPC manuals revision control reference documents and work instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interface with assemblers test technicians engineers customers and management
• Proficient with Personal Computers and newer applications
• No degree required
• Must be able to read and write English
• Has the willingness and ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.
• Requires prior inspection experience.
• A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers test technicians engineers customers and management when resolving quality issues.
• Candidates must take and pass a medical screening exam as outlined in the supplier guide.
