Pharmacy Technician

Athena Health Care is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support prior authorization and intake operations within a fast-growing technology-driven healthcare environment.

This role plays a critical part in improving patient access to fertility treatments by ensuring timely and accurate processing of prior authorization requests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

• Support end-to-end prior authorization workflows for fertility medications
• Coordinate with clinics healthcare providers payers and patients
• Submit monitor and track prior authorization requests to ensure timely processing
• Conduct follow-ups to facilitate approvals and minimize treatment delays
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation and patient records

Required:

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License
• Ability to work onsite in Farmers Branch TX
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and coordination abilities

Preferred:

• Experience with prior authorizations intake or pharmacy operations
• Familiarity with healthcare workflows and payer processes
