Athena Health Care is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Neurodiagnostic Technologist II to join our advanced neurodiagnostics this role you will perform both routine and complex neurodiagnostic procedures supporting high-quality patient care in a collaborative patient-centered environment.
This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electroencephalographic (EEG) procedures including routine and complex studies
Conduct advanced testing such as:
Evoked potentials
Intra-operative monitoring (IOM)
Continuous EEG (cEEG)
Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) studies
Ambulatory video EEG
Monitor and assist with placement of specialized electrodes (sphenoidal grid depth and strip)
Support WADA testing and cortical stimulation procedures
Ensure accurate data collection documentation and adherence to clinical protocols
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support patient diagnosis and care
QualificationsRequired:
National Certification from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET)
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire)
Minimum 1 year of full-time neurodiagnostic experience
Preferred:
Documented training in:
Evoked potentials
Intra-operative monitoring (IOM)
