Licensed Dentist

Community Health Programs is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Dentist to provide high-quality dental care in a patient-centered environment. This role focuses on delivering preventative routine emergency and surgical dental services while promoting oral health education and disease prevention.

The ideal candidate will contribute to a collaborative innovative and mission-driven workplace supporting improved patient outcomes and community well-being.

• Provide routine preventative emergency and surgical dental care
• Examine diagnose and treat oral and dental conditions
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans or refer patients to specialists when needed

• Educate patients on oral hygiene disease prevention and treatment options
• Accurately document patient encounters in electronic dental/medical records
• Participate in community outreach and oral health promotion initiatives

• Supervise and guide dental support staff
• Ensure quality and consistency in care delivery
• Contribute to a positive collaborative and patient-focused work environment

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice
• Understanding of ethical and legal standards in dentistry
• Ability to work within scope and collaborate with specialists when needed
• Effective communication with diverse patient populations
• Adaptability to emerging trends in healthcare and dentistry

• Doctoral degree in Dental Medicine (DMD or DDS)
• Full unrestricted Dentist License
• Minimum 1 year of dental office experience
• Experience with electronic medical/dental records (EMR/EHR systems)
