Location: Dearborn Michigan-Onsite
Mode: Contract (6 Months)
Job Description:
Role Summary:
A Teamcenter Architect acts as the technical backbone of PLM implementations ensuring that the system supports product development efficiently across the organization.
- A Teamcenter Architect is responsible for defining and implementing the overall system architecture of Teamcenter solutions. They ensure the platform is scalable secure and aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Teamcenter architecture (2-tier 4-tier SOA-based environments)
- Lead installation configuration and upgrades of Teamcenter systems
- Define data models workflows and business processes within Teamcenter
- Integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise systems (e.g. ERP CAD tools)
- Ensure system performance security and scalability
- Provide technical leadership to developers and administrators
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize performance
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Teamcenter PLM architecture
- Knowledge of ITK BMIDE SOA Active Workspace
- Experience with database systems (Oracle SQL Server)
- Understanding of CAD integrations (NX SolidWorks etc.)
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture and system integration
- Programming/scripting knowledge (Java C XML)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Several years of experience in Teamcenter development/administration
- Experience in PLM implementations and upgrades
