IN-IDOH Developer

Job Description:

The Developer will be responsible for analyzing existing applications and developing new web-based solutions. This role involves working closely with project managers business analysts and technical teams to deliver high-quality scalable applications that meet business and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with relevant IT experience
• 10 years of experience with
• 5 years of experience with C# and MVC frameworks
• 5 years of experience with Oracle SQL and database development
• Experience with web services and application integration
• Strong understanding of application security and resolving security-related issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Understanding of EDI file formats and data exchange processes
• Experience supporting EDI transactions and resolving data transmission issues
• Experience in the healthcare or public health industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis design development testing and deployment
• Analyze existing applications and design enhancements or new solutions
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications
• Develop web applications using C# and MVC frameworks
• Apply object-oriented programming principles and best practices
• Write clean maintainable and efficient code along with unit testing strategies
• Prototype refine test and debug applications to meet user needs
• Ensure alignment with agency architecture standards and policies
• Address application security concerns and implement secure coding practices
• Work independently with minimal supervision and contribute to project milestones
• Support integration with external systems including EDI transactions (if applicable)
• Provide support for data exchange processes and troubleshoot transmission issues
