Transportation Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to join a growing roadway engineering team delivering state local and federally funded infrastructure projects across Indiana.

This role will play a key part in managing transportation projects from initiation through delivery with a strong focus on INDOT and Federal Aid programs while working closely with internal teams and external clients.

• Lead and manage roadway/transportation projects from notice to proceed through post-letting services
• Provide direction on design activities ensuring compliance with project standards and requirements
• Develop and manage project scope schedules and budgets
• Review and approve design calculations plans and construction documents
• Coordinate with internal teams sub-consultants and stakeholders across all project phases
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining schedules and deliverables
• Mentor and support junior engineers and CAD designers
• Assist in preparing Letters of Interest (LOIs) and proposals for public-sector projects
• Engage with clients to understand project needs and provide technical recommendations

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 6 years of roadway/transportation experience
• At least 2 years of project management experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana OR ability to obtain within a short timeframe
• Strong experience with:
  • INDOT and/or Federal Aid project processes
  • Roadway design and project delivery
• Proficiency in:
  • AutoCAD / Civil 3D
  • Microsoft Office tools
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities

• Experience working on INDOT or municipal roadway projects
• Familiarity with Indiana design standards and processes
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
