Shift Schedule: Evening and overnight shifts including weekends and holidays Schedule will be arranged based on facility needs
Credentialing / Onboarding time: 6 weeks to 8 weeks
License: Any state license that meets requirements to perform diagnostic CT
Certifications:
ARRT (Radiography or CT) or
NMTCB certification with documented CT training
BLS certification required
Experience needed:
2 3 years CT X-Ray experience
Special Skills needed:
Ability to perform CT and diagnostic radiology procedures
Knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
Ability to operate CT and radiography equipment
Knowledge of radiation safety standards and procedures
Ability to evaluate imaging results and recognize abnormalities
Ability to assist in emergency situations
Responsibilities:
Perform computerized tomography (CT) examinations as ordered by physicians
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures when CT exams are not scheduled
Review and evaluate physician requests for imaging procedures
Position patients and operate imaging equipment for optimal results
Adjust imaging techniques based on patient condition and exam requirements
Provide preliminary diagnostic information to physicians when required
Maintain patient records imaging logs and workload documentation
Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards
Assist in emergency situations and prioritize urgent cases
Misc:
Contractor must provide their own radiation dosimeter badge
Must meet immunization requirements including PPD and Tdap
