Job Summary
Job Title: RN - ICU
Specialty: Intensive Care Unit
Site: Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center
Location: 10701 East Blvd Cleveland OH 44106
Shift Schedule:
- 12-hour primary shifts
- Rotating Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays
Shifts per month: 20
License: Ohio RN or Compact
Certifications: BLS ACLS required
Experience needed: Minimum 2 years ICU / critical care
Special Skills:
- Ventilator and airway management
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- IV titration (pressors sedation etc.)
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Code response
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-acuity care to critically ill patients
- Manage ventilators IV drips and advanced monitoring equipment
- Perform continuous patient assessment and adjust care plans
- Respond to life-threatening emergencies and initiate interventions
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
Misc:
- Low volume but highest clinical expectation
