Job Summary:
The Manhole Installation Field Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing field crews performing manhole installation sanitary sewer and storm drainage construction. This role requires hands-on field experience strong leadership and the ability to coordinate crews equipment and materials to ensure work is completed safely on schedule and in compliance with project specifications and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily field operations for manhole installation sanitary sewer and storm drainage projects
Lead and direct crews installing precast and cast-in-place manholes pipe systems and drainage structures
Read and interpret plans profiles and specifications
Ensure work complies with municipal standards OSHA regulations and project requirements
Conduct daily job briefings safety talks and site inspections
Coordinate with project managers inspectors subcontractors and utility owners
Verify line grade and elevations for pipe and manhole installations
Monitor productivity and quality of work; resolve field issues as they arise
Track materials equipment usage and crew hours
Ensure proper installation of frames covers steps boots and coatings
Maintain accurate daily reports and as-built documentation
Enforce company safety policies and jobsite housekeeping standards
Required Qualifications:
5 years of field experience in construction of public infrastructure systems (sanitary sewer storm drains traffic signals and lighting and/or roadway maintenance).
2 years in a supervisory or lead role preferred
Extensive hands-on experience with manhole installation (precast and/or poured-in-place)
Strong understanding of sewer and storm pipe installation methods
Knowledge of excavation safety trench protection and confined space procedures
Ability to read construction drawings and set grades/elevations
Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills
OSHA 10 or 30 (preferred)
Valid drivers license
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience working on municipal or DOT projects
Familiarity with laser levels transits and grade control
Experience coordinating inspections and testing (leak testing vacuum testing)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Outdoor construction environment in varying weather conditions
Frequent lifting bending climbing and standing for extended periods
Entry into trenches and confined spaces as required
Work is performed outside in all weather frequent exposure to heat rain and cold conditions. Exposure to chemicals and other hazards. Must be able to physically wear PPE including hard hat safety glasses respirator ear protection coveralls gloves and steel toed boots.
Benefits are available to full-time employees (30 or more hours per week).

40 hours vacation pay after 1 year; 80 hours after 2 years.
Sick pay according to state laws
