Job Summary
7 10 years in Software Testing with 2 3 years in a QA Lead role
The QA Lead Manual Testing will be responsible for leading end to end quality assurance activities for desktop-based applications. This role involves test planning hands-on testing team mentoring defect management and close collaboration with development and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality stable releases.

Own and define test strategy test plans and test schedules for desktop applications.
Lead manual test execution across functional regression system integration and UAT phases.
Estimate testing effort plan resources and manage test deliverables across releases.

Hands-on Manual Testing
Design review and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and design documents.
Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
Validate desktop application behavior across different OS versions and configurations (Windows focus if applicable).

Defect & Quality Management
Log track and manage defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps / ALM.
Conduct defect triage root cause analysis and ensure timely closure.
Ensure quality gates are met before release sign off.

Process & Continuous Improvement
Define and improve QA processes templates and documentation standards.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and future automation readiness.
Ensure compliance with SDLC Agile/Scrum and audit requirements (if applicable).

Technical & Testing Skills
Strong expertise in Manual Testing for Desktop Applications.
