Job Summary
The House Supervisor serves as the onsite administrative representative for clinical and managerial functions during off-shifts weekends and collaboration with Department Heads s/he provides leadership consultation and collaboration in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment and is the primary back up for front managers in their absence. The House Supervisor plans for leads coordinates and facilitates the provision of quality care and service from a hospital-wide shift-specific perspective in a manner that fosters accomplishment of the specific Department s goals and objectives. The House Supervisor is responsible for issues related to staffing patient/family relations risk management clinical coordination patient placement public affairs and communications evaluation and mentoring. Ensures appropriate distribution and allocation of supplies/equipment and provides for adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver appropriate clinical services to the patients served.
