Job Summary

Bon Secours Southside Medical Center is looking for locum OB/GYN coverage for urgent coverage.
Job Details -- subject to change based on varying needs:
Practice Setting: OBGYN Hospital/Call potential for clinic coverage. Must be willing/able to cover both to be considered for this need.
If taking clinic night call would not be required after clinic days.

Dates of coverage: May-July potential for ongoing coverage; specific dates of coverage needed.
May 1-. Mays in office clinic days: May 7th 12th 21st and the 26th.
June-28
July
Reason for coverage: one provider will be out for a few weeks for personal time
Call ratio: 1 to 4
Total number of beds: 9 in L&D and 20 postpartum
Number of Physicians in practice: 4
Support Staff: OBHG hospitalist surgical assistants 3 to 4 nurses each shift
Average number of nursery admissions per day: 2 to 3 per day
Average call back per 24hr shift: less than 1 you will receive calls from answering service
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Are any specific procedures required: C-section vaginal deliveries suction D&C ectopic pregnancies ovarian torsion abnormal bleeding. MFM will handle most high-risk patients.

Also unreferred patients the Laborist will take care of those patients in the hospital for deliveries and rounding.
Credentialing takes 60-90 days but temps may be approved if provider has a clean background/no malpractice.

Prefers local candidates open to paying full travel
Rates to be submitted:
Daily clinic rate
OT to apply after clinic shift
24 hour call to apply on call only shifts
Call back to apply during patient contact hours at hospital while on call
Conversion fee ($25k max)
Holiday rates (1.5x)

Board Certified - REQUIRED
Active VA DEA and CSR - REQUIRED
Active VA license - REQUIRED
ABOG BLS - REQUIRED
Must be able to cover clinic call coverage - REQUIRED
Must be able to cover dates listed in job - REQUIRED
Self-query NPBD report as a requirement during time of presentation - REQUIRED
Providers MUST have clean backgrounds to be considered for temps - REQUIRED
