Hourly Salary Range: $38-$56 per hour (Also have an opportunity to make this a Lead position for qualified applicants which would be a salaried position @ $77k-$115k.)
18% Perm Placement Fee

The responsibilities of the Mammography Tech include but are not limited to the following:
Performs mammographic procedures in a timely manner on all patient types as prescribed by physicians; coordinates cases with co-workers in a productive manner.
Performs quality control on equipment prior to first patient use each day to assure optimum imaging; performs required quality tests as scheduled to comply with ACR and state regulations.
Assists in the proper operation of equipment through proper handling reporting of repairs and with quality control tests.
Maintains a professional departmental environment for patients visitors and employees.
Assures all clerical procedures are performed for each patient including processing charges interpretation of films report generation and permanent filing of the medical records.
Assures the proper use of radiation safety Hospital safety and universal precautions during the performance of ones assignments.
Adheres to safety practices reports accidents/hazards and maintains equipment as outlined in hospital policies.

Mammography experience - REQUIRED
ARRT and ARRT(M) Certified - REQUIREDDOCUMENT
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology. - REQUIRED

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

ARRT
BLS (AHA)

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : Some Saturdays Required.
On Call Requirements : TBD
