L&D RN Supervisor

General Description Provides interim supervisory support to the Birthing Center Manager during assignment. Ensures continuity of operations staff competency and compliance with organizational policies clinical standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibility Develops Implements and reinforces the following: Supports daily operations and patient care delivery in collaboration with the Birthing Center Manager. Implements and reinforces established policies clinical protocols and procedures. Provides staff education orientation support and competency validation as needed. Promotes compliance with safety quality and regulatory standards. Serves as a clinical and operational resource to staff and leadership during the assignment. Works in the nursing rotation Accountability The Birthing Center Supervisor reports directly to the Birthing Center Manager. Special Demands Mental: Astute communication skills with employees physicians visitors administration and public. Ability to adjust to job situations that involve many different people and projects requiring some independent action and judgment. Physical: Must have the ability and competency to operate the equipment of his/her position; perform technical procedures; speak intelligently and in a professional manner before others; and exercise supervision and management skills. Qualifications Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Current Colorado Registered Nurse Licensure. Current BLS certification. AWHONN intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring or C-EFM STABLE NRP Instructor Experience: Minimum of five years of Obstetrics Nursing and Neonatal experience required with prior leadership experience preferred. Bi-lingual capabilities helpful.
