Full time permanent onsite role.
Salary - $100000 to $150000/ year with benefits.
Must-Haves
- Current RN license required.
- At least three years experience in a Director role.
- Must possess a Bachelors degree in Nursing. Advanced degree (MSN Healthcare Administration and MBA) strongly preferred.
- Experience working in PACU Pre-Op Post-Op Gastro and Surgery preferred
Nice-To-Haves
- Experience managing 60 FTEs or more preferred
Schedule: 6:30AM 4:00PM
How youll contribute
As a Director of Nursing who excels in this role:
- Provides leadership and operational oversight for Main OR Outpaitent Surgery PACU Pre-Op Post-OP and Endoscopy
- Monitors key performance metrics including case volume turnover time block utilization and on-time starts.
- Develops and implements departmental goals plans and standards consistent with the clinical administrative legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
- Directs and evaluates departmental operations including patient care delivery information technologies service level determination and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
- Plans and monitors staffing activities including hiring orienting evaluating disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepares monitors and evaluates departmental budgets and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
What were looking for
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g. HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
- Manage the work of others including planning assigning scheduling and reviewing work and ensure quality standards. Responsible for hiring terminating training and developing reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
- BLS Required
- ACLS & PALS Preferred
- PACU PRE-OP and ENDO Experience Preffered
- Minimum 5 years of Surgical Director Experience Preferred
