Manufacturing Quality Engineer, General Assembly EESW

• Develop and execute test plans test cases and test suites for software and embedded systems.
• Perform functional regression UAT and live environment testing across platforms.
• Identify document and track bugs using tools such as Jira and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Analyze system requirements and translate them into detailed test documentation and quality assurance protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers designers and business analysts to ensure product readiness.
• Support the implementation of Agile practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Evaluate product performance post-release using analytics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain quality documentation including FSDs PRDs and mock-ups.
• Provide training and mentorship to new team members on QA processes and tools.
• Risk minimization through use of appropriate risk assessment tools and verification of the robustness of detection and prevention systems for special characteristics.
• Support the development and maintenance of FMEAs and control plans
• Support the definition of quality processes and technical standards in cooperation with development product management and manufacturing to ensure product quality.
• Support the planning and evaluation of product test drives within quality and approvals of functions and systems.
• Provide quality support to the technical and manufacturing teams as well as drive/support daily operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the team:

• Higher Diploma in Software Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5 years of experience in software quality assurance testing and business analysis.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Proficiency in QA tools such as Jira YouTrack and test management platforms.
• Experience with cross-platform testing and bug tracking.

• Excellent communication stakeholder management and documentation skills.
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (preferred).
• PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner (preferred).
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment with global collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for cross-functional collaboration.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain rigorous quality documentation.
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments and willingness to innovate in quality assurance technologies.
