Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to support a Federal Reserve Board (FRB) project focused on building and deploying a cloud-native application in AWS GovCloud. This role requires strong expertise in cloud infrastructure security and CI/CD within a federal/compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement secure scalable AWS GovCloud infrastructure
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls
Ensure compliance with FedRAMP FISMA and NIST standards
Implement monitoring logging and alerting (CloudWatch Splunk)
Manage multi-environment setups (Dev Test Staging Prod)
Identify and mitigate security risks across the application lifecycle
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
3 years of hands-on experience with AWS
1 year of experience in AWS GovCloud
Strong experience with Terraform (IaC)
Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab preferred)
Knowledge of Docker Kubernetes or ECS
Experience with CloudWatch or similar monitoring tools
Understanding of IAM networking and cloud security best practices

Nice to Have

Experience with Splunk or Xacta 360
Prior Federal/Government project experience
Familiarity with NIST 800.53 / FISMA compliance
