Job Description:
As a Senior Geospatial Project Manager you will lead enterprise level geospatial initiatives focused on modernizing infrastructure and economic development capabilities. You will combine strong project management expertise with deep GIS knowledge to plan coordinate and deliver complex geospatial solutions that improve operational efficiency support multi agency collaboration and enhance public service outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project charters scope schedules budgets and deliverables aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Manage internal teams and vendor resources to deliver complex GIS initiatives on time and within scope.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and translate business needs into geospatial system and data requirements.
• Oversee ArcGIS Enterprise deployments upgrades configuration service publishing and integrations.
• Maintain requirements traceability across design testing and acceptance phases.
• Lead stakeholder communication reporting and change management throughout project lifecycles.
• Oversee testing execution defect triage and resolution across environments.
• Ensure accessibility performance data integrity and reliability standards are met.
• Prepare concise status reports dashboards and executive level presentations.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing or supporting ArcGIS Enterprise based geospatial projects.
• Demonstrated project management experience coordinating multiple technical teams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture cloud concepts web GIS and DevOps workflows.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical GIS specifications and workflows.
• Proven ability to manage testing strategies and quality assurance for GIS systems.
• Experience producing detailed technical documentation and project artifacts.
• Strong stakeholder engagement facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate multi agency governance and IT prioritization environments.
• Experience with GIS system integrations and service oriented architectures.
• Relevant project management certification preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
