Job Summary

- Oversee and manage all business and IT release readiness processes for the RI Bridges system.
- Coordinate with all relevant State agencies and vendors for the development testing and deployment of application releases.
- Demonstrate strong project management leadership and communication skills in managing complex business-critical systems.
- Ensure vendor adherence to release schedules; identify risks/issues and develop mitigation plans to avoid delays.
- Track and verify all planned hardware software and application enhancement activities in the Release Runway.
- Manage release scope changes via appropriate change control processes and obtain necessary approvals.
- Monitor User Acceptance Testing (UAT) progress and support the UAT Lead.
- Assess operational readiness for each release including process changes data fixes documentation training and change management activities.
- Lead the RI Bridges Release Planning Committee (RPC) maintaining the release calendar and overseeing deployment planning/execution.
- Coordinate release readiness activities including checklists playbooks and timelines with vendors.
- Oversee post-release validations hyper-care and release closure activities.
- Serve as the primary State representative in weekly Agency Validation Management Meetings.
- Lead and facilitate executive go/no-go meetings for application releases.
- Prioritize and assign release scope within the Project Management Review (PMR) board.
- Collaborate with the CSDL team on Operational Readiness Reviews and distribute release materials to stakeholders.
- Support long-term strategic planning process improvements and resource planning for release management.
- Participate in key project governance meetings to monitor and escalate release-related issues.
- Report release status risks and decisions to executive leadership and provide clarifications as needed.
- Provide 24x7 on-call production support for high-severity issues including notifications and status updates.
- Serve as deployment approval point-of-contact for off-cycle releases and production updates during business hours.
- Demonstrate proficiency in JIRA and Microsoft Office products (SharePoint Word PowerPoint Excel Outlook).
