HIGHSCHOOL HISTORY/SOCIAL STUDIESTEACHER
SCHOOL YEAR 2026 - 2027
Assignment: Craig CountyHigh School
TheCraig County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for ahigh history/schoolsocial studiesteaching positionavailable within our division for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teachers License with appropriate endorsement to teachhistoryat thehigh school level
- Have experience in curriculum development and developing lesson plans
- Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
- Have experience or working familiarity with Google Drive for instruction collaboration and course work
- Have effective written verbal presentation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
Salary: 2026 - 2027 Teacher salary scale with benefits
FLSA:Exempt
