Job Title: Mental Health Coordinator Correctional Facility
Location: Las Animas CO 81054
Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 5x8 Day Shift

Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Mental Health Coordinator to provide clinical mental health services within a secure facility. The role involves planning coordinating and delivering non-medical mental health care including assessments treatment planning counseling and crisis intervention. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical expertise sound judgment and professionalism while delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health screenings and assessments through record review and clinical interviews
• Develop implement and update individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Provide ongoing therapeutic services including counseling and behavioral interventions
• Deliver crisis intervention for acute mental health concerns
• Accurately document evaluations treatment plans and clinical interactions
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with regulations
• Apply evidence-based practices and psychological theories in treatment delivery
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to ensure effective outcomes

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Mental Health Counseling or a related clinical field from an accredited institution

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active state licensure as one of the following:
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Valid drivers license preferred

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience including at least 2 years in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of mental health assessment diagnosis and treatment planning
• Demonstrated ability to provide counseling and crisis intervention in a structured environment
• Excellent documentation communication and organizational skills
• High level of professionalism ethical standards and attention to confidentiality
