Cambridge, MA - USA
Job Summary
Posting Description
RESEARCH SUPPORT ASSOCIATE 2The Picower Institute for Learning and Memory to join theNedivi Labwhich is investigating the contribution of different classes of interneurons to circuit development and their relative contribution to neuronal plasticity processes. While inhibitory synapses are essential to brain function and plasticity surprisingly little is known about their molecular composition. The lab employs a unique multiphoton microscopy approach for large volume high-resolution imaging of dendritic arbor and synaptic structural dynamics in vivo paired with post hoc molecular analysis to identify synaptic proteins that are specifically associated with synapses in relation to their individual afferents dendritic positioning and dynamic and developmental history. This position would be ideal for someone who is graduate school bound.
