Are you a proven laboratory leader ready to make a measurable impact in a growing high-performance histology lab environment We are seeking a Senior Pathology Laboratory Manager to drive operational excellence standardization and strategic growth across our laboratories. This is a high-visibility leadership role where youll partner directly with executive leadership influence enterprise-wide initiatives and help scale a best-in-class histology operation.
In this role youll lead with purposeoptimizing workflows strengthening quality systems mentoring future leaders and ensuring seamless operations across multiple sites. Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Travel: Occasional travel to our Manitowoc laboratory as needed
- Sign-On Bonus: $10000
- Salary: $145000 $155000 (based on experience)

What Youll Do
- Lead Laboratory Operations: Oversee daily histology lab operations ensuring optimal workflow efficiency quality and turnaround times across multiple sites.
- Drive Standardization: Partner with peer Senior Lab Managers to align processes policies and workflows for consistency and scalability.
- Develop Leaders: Train mentor and assess lab managers and supervisorsbuilding a strong consistent leadership bench.
- Champion Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards (CLIA HIPAA RCRA) through audits training and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with executive leadership on workforce planning process improvement and capital investments to support growth.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead workflow redesign root cause analysis and performance improvement initiatives tied to quality safety and operational metrics.
- Operational Excellence: Manage equipment lifecycle planning budgeting input and resource optimization.
- Cross-Site Leadership: Provide coverage and leadership continuity across laboratory locations as needed.
What You Bring
- Meets CLIA requirements for High Complexity Testing
- 7 years of experience in a high-volume pathology laboratory
- 3 years of laboratory management experience
- HT/HTL (ASCP) certification preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence mentor and drive accountability
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and laboratory compliance
- Experience with LIS EMR systems and Microsoft Office
- Exceptional communication organization and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to quality continuous improvement and team collaboration
