Description:
Will be an integral member of the DNS DHCP IPAM (DDI) Operations Team and will be responsible for the IP Address Management process. Responsible for the automation of requirements management change management requirements gathering/tracking and configuration management. Projects require automated solutions to effectively manage the requirements link source documents and architectures. The Tools Engineer shall work with teams to identify engineer and implement the most optimum automated solution that follows approved processes for a given project or addition Tools Engineers shall work with all other infrastructure support teams as other teams as part of a solution to identify engineer and implement solutions that integrate with the automation/infrastructure/productivity tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Space alignment for registration requests
- IPAM Subnet management workflow management front door management and vetting
- Space alignment for registration requests
- Burn rate management space alignment for registration requests and efficiency of routing services and subnet for cloud services
- Develop tailor and maintain associated technical documentation for software productivity tools
- Provide consulting training and hands-on expertise to project personnel to include Key Management personnel in the use of software tools
- Perform regular backup of software productivity tools databases datasets and files
- Fourteen (14) years combined experience as a software engineer system engineer system administrator or configuration management engineer. Eight (8) years experience as a Tools Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution is required. Four (4) years of additional experience as a software engineer system engineer system administrator or configuration management experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
