This position will operate in a hybrid work environment 1 day per week in the office (Philadelphia PA or Cleveland OH).
OVERVIEW:
The Client Onboarding Experience Manager is responsible for overseeing Glenmedes end-to-boarding execution for new and existing Private Wealth and Endowment & Foundation relationships while partnering closely with enterprise stakeholders to advance the firms strategic repapering priorities.
This role serves as the operational and people leader for the Client Onboarding team ensuring onboarding capacity regulatory precision client experience and enterprise initiatives are aligned scalable and sustainably executed.
The role operates as a key connector between Relationship Management Fiduciary Compliance Legal and Operations translating strategic priorities into executable workflows while maintaining strong risk discipline and team sustainability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Onboarding Execution & Risk Oversight
- Lead and oversee all Private Wealth client onboarding activity including new business additions and complex account openings ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Serve as the primary owner or escalation point for high risk high complexity onboarding and repapering matters.
- Maintain ownership of onboarding SLAs compliance metrics and audit readiness providing updates to governance forums as required.
- Ensure onboarding processes align with KYC/AML CIP OFAC and regulatory requirements.
Repapering Strategy & Enterprise Alignment
- Partner with Private Wealth leadership to support Glenmedes strategic repapering initiatives.
- Design and implement controlled approaches for integrating repapering activity into onboarding workflows without increasing regulatory or client risk.
People Leadership & Capacity Management
- Coach and develop the Client Onboarding team fostering accountability engagement and high performance.
- Proactively manage team capacity and workload distribution across onboarding and repapering activity.
Process Improvement & Change Leadership
- Identify opportunities to simplify onboarding and repapering workflows while preserving regulatory rigor.
- Manage change adoption within the onboarding team ensuring process changes are well-sequenced and sustainably implemented.
- Represent Client Onboarding in enterprise initiatives governance discussions and operational forums.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree.
- 5 years of experience in client onboarding account opening operations or a related financial services function.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in a regulated financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of trusts legal entity structures and Private Wealth onboarding requirements.
- Experience partnering with Compliance Legal Fiduciary and Relationship Management teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory audits and risk-based decision making.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated ability to operate with executive presence and influence across senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing competing priorities and translating strategy into execution.
- Proficiency with Salesforce Docusign and workflow tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
