Job Description:


This job is responsible for promoting business continuity crisis management and/or operational resilience and facilitating cross-functional collaboration and decision making related to business continuity initiatives and ongoing process activities. Key responsibilities include working with teams to facilitate and execute deliverables related to business continuity planning testing incident management progress reporting and audit/regulatory issues. Job expectations include providing business continuity subject matter expertise and/or crisis management support.

Team Specific Job Description:

This job is responsible for supporting the Enterprise Services Framework and Taxonomy (ESFT) program. This role includes extensive focus on process optimization for the Service Enabler Mapping (SEM) process which is an enterprise-wide program designed to understand and document inter-dependencies across the firm in support of resolution planning and other key initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a lead contributor or project manager to execute the scope of initiatives and processes through continuity planning testing supplier assessments enterprise risk transparency and response management.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure business continuity crisis management and/or disaster recovery plans adhere to policies standards and/or procedures
  • Supports deliverables related to audit and regulatory inquiries
  • Provides subject matter consulting related to business continuity crisis management and disaster recovery programs.
  • Surfaces issues affecting recoverability and ensures resolution

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to ingest information quickly and manage multiple processes simultaneously.
  • Identifies gaps and/or risks with the ability to propose solutions with streamlined execution.
  • Understands how to manipulate and interpret large amounts of data to provide in-depth reporting and analytics to support audit and regulatory inquiries and drive data-driven process improvements and control enhancements.
  • Deliver end-to-end assessment of potential/actual stakeholder impacts mitigation action planning and consistent messaging.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal and external partnerships.
  • Quickly execute concise accurate and timely communications driven by data analysis to senior leadership.
  • Develop and refine business processes and standard/procedure requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in analytics reporting business controls and / or process improvement.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize competing demands including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Recent reporting and analytics experience including one or more of:
    • SQL: intermediate-to-advanced-level (Joins/Union/Case/In/Group By/Append/Update)
    • Excel: expert/power-user (pivots dynamic array/spill functions Power Query intermediate VBA)
    • Alteryx Tableau and SharePoint
    • Generative AI / Copilot
  • Ability to be flexible in support of the maturing organization with an enterprise scope and mandate
  • Ability to appropriately influence key stakeholders and partners and effectively challenge when necessary.
  • Effectively communicate to inform influence and resolve key issues in a timely manner with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent team player committed to contributing to a positive team culture within a diverse workforce.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Operational Dependencies for Entities Service and Enablers (ODESE) platform
  • Familiarity with the Service Enabler Mapping Process and / or Enterprise Services Taxonomy
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate cross-Enterprise communications and engagement
  • Comfortable with communicating directly with senior level leadership.
  • Strong risk awareness including operational compliance and reputational risk.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
